In the last few months, 15 thousand employees of private sector Axis Bank have quit. This claim has been made in the report of Economic Times. According to the report, due to changing the management of the bank, the employees were facing difficulties in working. This is the reason why bank employees of medium and branch level resigned from their jobs. These are the employees who have direct contact with the customers.

What is the reason for leaving the job?
According to the Economic Times report, a senior officer of Axis Bank said that old people are leaving jobs because they are having difficulty in understanding the changes with the new age. Apart from this, employees are not able to adapt themselves to the new environment.

However, the bank is still insisting on recruiting new people. If we talk about the current financial year, then Axis Bank has hired a total of 28 thousand people. Along with this, the bank has planned to give jobs to 4 thousand employees in the January-March quarter. At the same time, the intention is to add 30 thousand new people in the next two years. At present, the bank has about 72 thousand employees.

Management was Changed in 2019
There was a change in the management of Axis Bank last year. In fact, on 1 January 2019, Axis Bank appointed Amitabh Chaudhary as the new CEO and MD. His term is three years. Shikha Sharma was in this position before Amitabh Chaudhary. His term expired on 31 December 2018. The bank is adopting automation and artificial intelligence very fast.

Let us know that Axis Bank has had to cope with losses in the second quarter of the current financial year. According to the results released in October last, Axis Bank's net loss stood at Rs 112.08 crore. This private sector bank registered a net profit of Rs 789.61 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
