In the midst of the Corona crisis, the prices of petrol and diesel are constantly increasing. Petrol and diesel prices have increased for the 11th consecutive day and after the new increase, petrol in Delhi will now be available of Rs.77.28 per liter and diesel Rs.75.79 per liter.
Oil companies also increased the prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday. In Delhi, the price of petrol has increased by Rs. 0.55 to Rs. 77.28 per liter, while the price of diesel has increased by Rs. 0.69 to Rs. 75.79. Earlier on Tuesday, the price of petrol in Delhi increased by Rs. 0.47 to Rs. 76.47 per liter and the price of diesel increased by Rs. 0.57 to Rs. 75.19. On Monday, the retail price of petrol was Rs. 76.26 per liter and diesel was Rs. 74.26 per liter.
Petrol diesel prices will vary from state to state depending on the VAT levied in each state, whereas this is the 11th day of continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel and oil companies have been reviewing prices since June 2017 on a daily basis. However, before this, for the last 12 weeks, the oil companies had not made any change in the price of petrol and diesel. But from June 7, the reshuffling was started in the price of petrol and diesel. Since then, prices are increasing on daily bases.
