An 11-year-old boy who was missing while flying a kite and was kidnapped and murdered in Amer area of the city 3 days ago. The child’s body was found on Monday in a plastic sack in a house some distance away. Police have detained three youths in the case. Out of this, Asif confessed the crime and has been arrested.
Accused Asif told during interrogation that he took the child Arsalan along on the pretext of getting the kite. The child was not intended to be murdered. He only wanted to kidnap the child and ask for a ransom from his father, but the child died before that.
Tucked in house by tying hands, feet and putting a cloth in the mouth
During interrogation, the accused said that on 15 January at 2 pm, the child took Arsalan Qureshi with him. After this, he tied his hands and feet and put cloth in the mouth and slammed it into a house of a semi-built empty plot 2 kilometers away. The child was killed when he visited at 7 in the evening. After this, the body was placed on the roof of the house and hid it with bricks.

This is how the murder was revealed
Police said that after getting information about the incident, a team was formed and the investigation was started. Investigation reveals that the child was last seen with Asif. Asif was then detained. During the interrogation, he confessed his own crime.

DCP North Campus Deshmukh and Additional DCP Sumit Gupta said that Arslan Qureshi, son of Mohammed Shakeel, a resident of Friends Colony, Nai Ki Thadi, was 11 years old. He was a student of the second grade. On January 15, around 1 o’clock in the afternoon he was flying kites at home.
The family was also at home then. According to his father, his son Arslan suddenly disappeared after about 1 hour. He could not see, then searched for him. Asked Arslan’s friends and neighbors living in the colony. But the child was not found. Then Mohammad Shakeel had filed a kidnapping case at Amer police station.
