A private hospital in Greater Noida was sealed by the district administration on Tuesday. The hospital is alleged to have not informed the district administration of a corona positive patient admitted in it. District administration sources said that Sanjeevani Hospital is currently sealed for 48 hours. The hospital is alleged to had knowledge of a corona positive present in it. This information was to be immediately given to the district administration by the hospital management, so that all precautions taken for corona positive patient were implemented.
According to the district administration, Sanjivani Hospital is located in the Gamma-1 sector of Greater Noida. Further investigation is being done, also, the concerned Corona positive patient has been taken by the doctors under their supervision.
On the other hand, the Yogi government in the state has directed to open all private hospitals immediately. Most private hospitals are closed due to the lockdown, behind this, the hospital operators are citing the problems of staff movement, while the opening of hospitals is not banned under essential services.
The state government has issued an order in this regard to DMs of all districts on Monday night. The order said that action should be taken on non-opening of private hospitals. Chief Secretary RK Tiwari said that patients can be treated in hospitals by following social distancing. Availability of medical staff and medicines is necessary for fixed time in hospitals.
