The Election Commission of India has announced the date of voting for the Delhi Assembly elections. On February 8, there will be simultaneous voting for all 70 assembly seats in Delhi. The results of which will come on 11 February.

Earlier on Monday afternoon, the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi Dr. Ranbir Singh released the final voter list of Delhi. Accordingly, the total voters in Delhi are 1,46,52,139. Of these, male voters are 80,55,686, while female voters are 66,35,365. In addition, there are only 489 third-gender voters. There are 2,08,883 new voters aged 18-19 years and 2,05,035 voters above 80 years of age.

This time there are 3 lakh 75 thousand voters more than the Lok Sabha elections. This time voters use voter helpline, PWD (Person with Disability), voter turnout and C-Vigil app. At the same time, the candidates will be given the facility of filing nominations online. For this, all political parties will be trained by organizing workshops. However, after filling the online form, it will be mandatory to take a printout and submit it to the election officer's office.
